501 is a good score. I assume you belong to OBC category as stated in your question.

There are a few colleges under state quota which had a cut off less than 500 for the year 2018.

1. Osmania Medical College.

2. Gandhi Medical College.

3. Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences.

4. Government Medical college, Adilabad.

5. ESIC Medical College.

These colleges had a cut off less than 500 for 2018 for OBC category. The cut off marks change every year but still a score of 501 has a chance if getting admission under state quota in the any one of the above mentioned colleges.
