Hi,
With a score of 440 in BC category, it becomes difficult to secure a seat in the government medical colleges when comparing the results of previous years. Last year, a minimum score of 558 was required to fetch one a seat in Rajah Muthaiah medical college, Annamalainagar in BC category under the state quota. For the general or unreserved category of students, the cut-off percentile is 50 which means that you need to score approximately 360 or above in order to get admission to MBBS in a government college.Also, one thing to keep in mind is that scores and ranks vary each year with difficulty level of the question paper and availability of seats.
