My son got 1630 rank in PESSAT in 2019. He didn't attend counselling conducted June1,2.what is last cut off?can he get CSE in round 2?

Hi there,
Congratulations to you for securing that amazing rank.Your son would obviously not get CSE in the main campus,ofcourse.Check these details I could get some data for you from the official sites. For CS branch the cut-off is around 850 to 900(in 2nd round which is the final round)
For EC it is about 1500(2nd round)
Your son would surely bag other branches like Civil,Mechanical and Biotech if interested. Else,I would advise to think of South campus ss well. Feel free to ask doubts,if any. Best wishes!

Hello Sir,Your son may get CSE in South Campus. But that would'nt be a guarantee as everything depends on the competition. As far as both the colleges are concerned,it is no doubt that the main campus is excellent,but the South campus is also getting in its excellence now.
