Hello,

They will consider the higher rank, according to which the later percentile will be considered. In this rank you can get some of the NITs in general quota. NITs do have home state quota as well. This increases the chances of getting the admission in the home NIT.

You can get the exact admission process and fee structure on the particular NIT's official website.
