Hello Utsav,
VIT is the conducting body of VITEEE. On account of Covid19 pendemic this year VITEEE was cancelled and the admission for the academic session 2020-21 was to be given solely based on class 12 aggregate percentage. A candidate seeking admission has to find place in merit list and then they would be shortlisted for counselling process.
If we take a look at the past year closing rank for CSE then
- It was 7000 for VIT Vellore Campus and
- It was 14000 in VIT Chennai campus.
Your son has scored 4031 rank which is lower than the above two ranks. Therefore he is eligible to get both campuses. The choice depends on him.
