Sir i don't think that your son should reappear for the board exam. Firstly because he has already paseed the eligibility criteria for neet exam which is 50% for gen. Category and 40% for reserved. So there is no particular need of giving board exam again. Secondly if he reappears for board exam, he'll be wasting a lot of time which can be devoted towards efficient preparation of NEET.

All the best.

Hello,

Your son would be wasting time in writing the board exams again as he has already qualified the eligibility criteria which is 50 percent for General Category and 40 percent for SC and ST category. Sp I recommend not to give board exam again.

Now coming to entrance exam, as he has qualified the eligibility criteria he can write NEET 2018.

The reason for asking him to skip the board exam is as per rules of NEET UG is he can attempt only 3 times so, your son would be wasting time to attempt it.

Wishing him all the best

Your son has already qualified the percentage criteria required to be eligible to appear and get admission via NEET.If your son wants to perceive medical or engineering I would recommend that its of no worth to give the board exam papers again because board marks don't count at all to get you a seat it totally depends on the entrance exam marks and ranks and if your son gives the board exam again he would have to prepare for it and the reamining type left would get wasted in the board preparation which would later become a panic situation during entrance exam date coming near and in this cut throat competition it would not be a wise decision to do so.
