With 490 score you might not get Osmania medical College as their cut off is abive 570 for both state and all india quota for general category. You might get only if you belong to reserved category.
We are predicting this on the basis of previous year cut off trends. We. Are not sure about this year cut off as it changes every year depending on no.of candidates, no.of seats and difficulty of exam. So hope for better result this time.

Thank you so much for the prompt reply. We belong to Minority community(muslims) & under OBC(other backward caste) my son's rank is mentioned as 23175. Will that help in getting a seat in Osmania or Gandhi medical college.

Yes you might get osmania medical college or gandhi meducal college if you belong to obc category under state quota. Previous year cut off of osmania and gandhi college for obc category under state quota were 471 and 469 respectively.
