the basic requirement of KCET is the student must spent their last 7 years of schooling/study in karnataka.but another option will be there for you,that is HORANADU AND GADINADU quota. by this quota your son can give KCET.this quota is especially for the kannad students who didn't finished their last 7 year in karnataka.but there will be some conditions like
1.he must take UP the kannada language test will be conducted by KEA.
2.his parents must be domiciled in karnataka.
3.mother tongue must be tulu/kanada
so he can appear for KCET along with conditions mentioned above.
