Yes, on the basis of his AADHAAR card, his father's proof of address (could be AADHAAR, Bank details, Electricity bill, etc.) and his Domicile, your son should be able to get a Domicile certificate with no issues.
Some documents that the Pragya Kendra or any Government Office through which you are applying for this domicile will ask for is your son's Class 10th and 12th Certificate. In these certificates, the officials will see that your son has done his schooling (especially the important 10th and 12th Board exams) from a school that is situated in Maharashtra. They will ask for his AADHAAR Card, and make sure that the address in it is from Maharashtra only. If it is not, kindly see that it is changed and aligns with his father's address mentioned in his AADHAAR. The process to attain a domicile is very tedious and will demand a lot of running to the government offices.
