Transferring your son to a CBSE school in Telangana in Class 9 is advisable, as many schools are reluctant to accept new admissions directly into Telangana board Class 10 due to TS SSC board examination preparation requirements. Transferring now will also allow him to align with the curriculum ensuring a smoother transition and better academic performance.
