If he has interest towards MBBS say him to focus just over MBBS and if you don't want to drop 1year you can even go for BAMS too

If your son is interested in doing MBBS you should go for it as it has good scope
in the future more then other medical entrance exams and it is good to choose the field according to the interest and passion of the students.
