On such NEET UG score and category it is quite difficult for your son to get any of the seat in any of the government or even private colleges because if we go through the closing cut-offs of last year then according to them if your son would have secured around 400+ marks then he would have some chances for private seats.
Before explaining you the reservation let me tell you that only for government colleges there are fixed government quota for different categories like OBC/SC/ST as the seats are 100% under government quota. So whatever the total seats available for admission under government quota there will be fixed reservation of 7.5% for ST candidates. Like as per the seat matrix released by KEA Bangalore for General quota there are total 115 seats reserved for ST candidates which are further divided in different sub-categories of ST category.
