Hello Prateek Chaudhary,
In JEE or any other place Reservation is given to Sc, ST ,OBC ,Pwd ,NCL etc. There is no such thing called reservation for general category. As announced by government, the reservation percentage for
SC = 15%
ST= 7.5%
OBC(non creamy layer layer, annual income < 8 lakh)= 27%
Pwd= 5%
Economically Backward class=10%
After removing the seats reserved for all the above categories , the seats which are left are the seats for which the General category students compete along with the OBC creamy layer candidates.
.
There is no reservation for General category student. Only reservation for candidate from general category who comes under EWS.
