since the January 2024 JEE Mains session 1 result is out, your son must have got and checked his percentile.
The student's percentile is the NTA score mentioned in the scorecard. NTA score and percentile is the same thing.
Talking about the rank, the rank of the student is released along with the final result after the April session-2 of JEE Mains.
