Does your son wants to do B.E/B.Tech. Children in 12th standard have very little knowledge about future career, so they often choose wrong path as shown by the parents. So parents should not show path to students, parents should explain what is there in each path of study, and see what interests their child the most. If a child finds something very interesting, no matter what he will do good in it. And career prospects are good only if a student is good enough in anything.

If your child is interested in B.Tech, then CSE is the most demanding course as of now. Branches like electrical, mechanical are good for government jobs. Electronics and IT are also very good fields.

Hello

CSE is the stream which has more demand solely on the basis of the number of windows available. Ethical hacking, machine learning, deep learning, data science, artificial intelligence etc. are the variegated options available.
ECE i.e. Electronics and Communication is also a good option to consider.

However, I'd first suggest you ask your son what he wants to do. Which stream does his interest lie in?

Hi...

For Btech computer science specialization is growing day by day and will continue in the future too. There are many job opportunities in this field such as software developer, machine learning, cyber security, market research etc. It is a vast specialization and opportunities are also increasing day by day.

Dear Sir,

There have been great demand for Btech CS Specialization with Automation as boom and roles into Artificial intelligence, Blockchain and cyberspace, Machine and neural learning, Database management, Data scienec and analytics, Manangement information systems, Project and product management.

Major opportunities lie into E-commerce and IT and Telecom sectors.

One can also take up niche specialization like Aerospace where there is high demand for quality Engineering grads.

Aerospace Engineering has been niche specialization with great and niche roles into nuclear,  space and defense sectors and companies like Larsen and Toubro, JET airways, Indigo, etihad airways, Southwest airlines,  HAL, DRDO, Bharat Forge, Boeing, Airliner, ISRO, NASA.

The salary prospects for both are immense and have some exceptional value and Return on Investment in near future.
