My son was born on on 9 August 2012. he is now in class 5. is he eligible to appear in the class 10th board exam of CBSE?

Hope you and your family are in best of their health, so the answer to your question is "NO" because according to CBSE norms, students must be 14 years old to sit for class x. There is no upper age limit for appearing on the CBSE board for class X. Also the child needs to pass 6th, 7th ,8th and 9th class to come to 10th class. Also during 9th class there are some registrations happen for class 10th so child need to pass these classes to come to the 10th class then only he can give the exams

Firstly your son is in class 5, why would he be giving class 10 cbse now. Ater 5 years he will give it as he will be in class 10.
Secondly the minimum age criteria for cbse class 10 examination is that the student must be at least 14 years old by the December of the appearing year.
