Last year cut off for BCD category in Telangana was around 3400 state rank.

As there are around only 5000 medical seats in telangana in total, around 1500-2000 seats will be filled under management quota and NRI quota.

So you have almost no chances to get a medical seat with state rank around 5000.

But we cannot surely say anything because this year AIIMS and JIPMER students will eventually leave these seats for state quota students.
Most importantly do not forget to try until the mop up round of counselling, who knows you may secure a seat by the end of mop up round.
