Hello,

Based on the previous year cut off you may have chances of getting seat in the following college in Chennai in ECE under SC category

  • Loyola Institute of Technology
  • GRT Institute of Engineering and Technology
  • Vel Tech High Tech Dr. Rangarajan Dr. Sakunthala Engineering College
  • Panimalar Engineering College
  • University College of Engineering, Kancheepuram, Ponnerikarai Campus
  • D M I College of Engineering
  • Velammal Engineering College (Autonomous)
  • St. Josephs Institute of Technology
  • Meenakshi Sundararajan Engineering College
  • Chennai Institute of Technology

The cut off for SSN in 2019 for SC category for admission to ECE was 164.5 marks and for PSG college it was 180.25 marks. Considering this you may not get seat in SSN or PSG. Cut off is subjected to change, it may increase or decrease slightly depending on number of candidates applied, number of seats available etc.

Hello Aspirant,

As we know that cut-offs for TNEA 2020 has not released yet so I will guide you on the basis of previous year's cut-off to give you an idea. So according to the marks mentioned by you in the question it is quite hard to get PSG College of Engineering and Technology and even SSN College of Engineering is also out of your reach because for PSG College you need to have a score around 160 and for SSN College you should have your score around 165. Note that this prediction is based on previous year's cut-off which you also can check from the link given below by entering the college name and branch which you want :-

On the basis of the marks mentioned in the question and your category you can get following colleges like University College of Engineering, King's Engineering College and so on. Note that cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors.

You can use TNEA College Predictor to predict your college according to your marks and category :-
