My UPSEE rank is 22014.Can I get admission in AKG, KIET , or JSS in CSE branch? Plss help me
Hello Aditya,
As the results are recently declared the cutoffs are not yet decided, so we will not be able to give you the exact information.By seeing the previous years cutoffs, it will be little difficult for you to get CSE in the colleges you have mentioned. You can try CSE in Galgotias College of Engineering & Technology, Greater Noida or PSIT, Kanpur.
The cutoffs will be declared till 25th of june 2018, till then you can check the previous years cutoffs from our site :https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/upsee-cutoff .
Hope this information helped you.
All the best for counsilling!!
Thank you
If u don't mind may I get ur no.
It completely depends on your interest,Since u didn't took computer in 11th it's shows u didn't liked coding much, and believe me when u take cse in college, coding will be like a daily must activity for you like sleeping eating and drinking!
Now EE is electrical engineering ,as the term says it's completely around electrical stuffs- that is motors, power consumption, transformers, data signals etc.If u find your interest there u can choose the branch, but as I told before AKTU has no scope for EE,it will be all up to you how much hard working u are ....
Job opportunities - cse definitely is a lot better,ee doesn't has much job opportunities after btech(AKTU)so u have to go for gov. Exams or give gate exam to get into PSU'S.,there where EE is better.
Conclusion- Now if u want To go for gov jobs after btech choose EE( make sure ur interested in it though) else if u want a job straight away from college or you have a dream of working for soft based companies like Google and Amazon go for CSE( u gotta code real hard though!)
All the best!
How I come to know that I am interested in xy branch , until I don't opt it in btech
Or my favourite topics or interested subject will decide my branch
If it is so than I am interested in physics and in that topics are gravitation, magnetism, charges, dipole etc.
And one more doubt I should go for one year drop or not
I have many more questions therefore I was asking for no. But it's okk and thank u
