tell you how counselling is done in UPSEE .

Just imagine there is a college with 1000 seats out of which the reservation are as follows
1. OBC : 250 seats
2. Sc/ST : 250 seats
3. Girls : 100 seats
4. Freedom fighter : 50 seats
5. Armed Forces : 50 seats
6. PwD : 30 seats
7. General : 270 seats

and you have got a rank of 700 in General and 90 in girls , so if you see . You will not get the college on the bases of your Gen rank (because there are only 270 seats in Gen category and you have got 700 , but because of your Girls quota you will get a seat).
