My vit rank is 21718, can i get cse or it in any of the four campus within category 1? should i even participate in councelling? If not category 1, is category 2 worth it?

Hope you are doing absolutely great.
So with regard to your query, YES there are really good chances for you to get admission into the any of the four branches of the VIT. As per the recent cutoff trends, you will also be able to get the CSE, Civil, Mechanical, ECE and also EEE branches as well. Don't loose hope, wait until the end of the counselling.
