It depends on which category you have.

If you are general/OBC student, then your chances at VIT Vellore are very low, and forget CSE or Mechanical.



In terms of VIT Chennai, your score might fetch you a Mechanical seat, but probably not CSE. However, with that score, you will easily get into VIT Bhopal and Amravati.



Overall, my advise to you would be to prepare for Advanced if you have qualified for it, since there is always a much better prospect through that exam. Put everything into it, and you will get a good score and a college. Though at the end of the day, it is your choice. Good luck!
