my wbjee counseling has started. So which one should i prefer first in counseling - B. Pharm or IT

• B.Pharma has a stronger presence in India and beyond. After completing B. Pharma you can move towards the paramedical field, and related to only processing of drugs, sale and marketing of drugs etc. Comparatively, B.Pharma pays less than other companies. In India, a newbie in this sector may expect to earn between 10,000 and 18,000 INR per month. It is possible that as you get more expertise, your salary may increase to around Rs. 9 to 12 lakhs each year. In other countries, the beginning pay might range from $15,000 to $25,000.
• After completing B. Tech IT, the candidates can go for a job in various IT sectors and MNC companies. B. Tech in Electronics and Communication graduates in the government sector may expect a starting salary of around Rs 10,000 per month. Your pay will grow as you advance in your career and gain expertise. The private sector might pay you anything from Rs 20,000 to Rs 1 lakh per month, depending on your location.

See both the fields are good and both of them have industrial value. But if you observe by the salary packages then you will find that IT companies provide more salary compared to most of BPharm graduates. Also IT have a larger space and if you can learn good coding skills then you will have multiple ways to earn which is an advantage over BPharm. SO if you are ok to choose any of the two then I would recommend you to keep IT at first followed by BPharm.
