my wbjee rank is 1370 and I am outsider so what should be my preference of college in choice filling as far as placement is concerned please reply

Other state students are not eligible for government aided colleges in wbjee. West Bengal domicile requirement is there for seat in Government aided colleges, seats in Aliah university and 90 % of general seats for Jadavpur University( 10% seats are open for other state for Jadavpur University) and also other state students are not eligible for reservation i. e OBC/ST/SC etc.

This is very difficult to predict which college you will get because cut off  keeps changing every year depending upon a number of factors like

--------) number of students that appeared in the WBJEE exam

--------)difficulty level of the WBJEE examination

--------)Kind of marks obtained by the students in the WBJEE exam

--------) number of students from different categories etc

But yes,

With your 1370 rank

On the basis of wbjee 2020, 3rd round, cut off data ,you have chances in following:-

• Jadavpur University:- production engineering:-1390
• Jadavpur University:- metallurgy :- 1552

• Techno India University, Salt Lake:-computer science:-16693

• Haldia Institute of Technology, Haldia, Purba Medinipur:- computer science:-19583

So, you should prefer above for placement and education quality etc.
