name and explain the pathway by which water and minerals enter the roots
Hey,
Water and minerals enter the dicotyledonous root and stem and through the xylem it is transported to the other parts of the plants .
The uptake of water is done in the roots through osmosis where the water molecules travel across a semipermeable membrane from a more concentrated arena to the less concentrated area and this is the process by which roots absorb water and mineral molecules from the soil which help in providing nutrients to the plants.
I hope this helps.
All the best!
