After your diploma in costume design and garment Technology there are several opportunities available out there. You can opt for several careers options like-

• Quality control, marketing plan and cost benefit analysis are other responsibilities of a garment technologist.
• You can work in those technical industries concerned with large scale production of uniforms.
• High end branded retail stores also employ garment technologists as consultants.
• You can find employment in the government sector which deals with certain materials and textile like jute or cotton or silk.

The salary at entry level of garment technologist will be moderate, but it increases gradually increases.

You will not get a very high salaried job in a top level company straightaway after doing diploma in Design and garment technology.One need to gain a lot if knowledge and experience to get a goob job in designing field.You will have to search internships and you will have to invest few years to get a high paying job.
