Hi, there are paramedical diploma courses such as Diploma in Emergency Medicine, Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technique, Diploma in Hospital Administration, Diploma in Biomedical Instrumentation etc and certificate courses such as X-Ray Technician, Certificate Course in Healthcare Quality Management etc which can be pursued post completing 10th or 12th in Science stream. There are paramedical Bachelor’s degree courses such as B.Sc in Anesthesia Technology, B.Sc in Ophthalmic Technology, B.Sc in Radiography and Medical Imaging etc which can be pursued after 12th with a minimum 50% in Chemistry, Physics, and Biology.
Admission and fees depend on the courses. The diploma courses and certificate courses usually have direct admission but for graduate courses entrance exams are conducted. There are many private as well as government institutes offering the courses. Some top-ranked paramedical colleges in India are AIIMS (New Delhi), AFMC (Pune), Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi etc.
