With 5.2 Percentile, I would just say you need to work a lot harder even to consider MBA hence, Management as a viable career choice. No good Management Institute, or even any Tier 2 or 3 MBA School having average placements has a Cutoff atleast between 60-70 Percentile in CAT.
Even if you get in some Private Management School with 5.2 Percentile, maybe through Management Quota or by Distance Education means, you wont be able to cope with the MBA Curriculum, A good score in CAT effectively develops your aptitude and intellect, and makes you suitable for MBA School.
I would hence advise you to prepare well for CAT/XAT/MAT/SNAP/NMAT Next year, and secure a seat in one of the better Management Schools having a great infrastructure, employer outlook and placements.
