Hello,

Nucleopolyhedrovirus is a genus of baculoviruses used as biological control agents.

They are considered to be good bio-control agents because

  • They act with high precision on many serious arthropod pests.
  • They do not harm or kill the plants, mammals.
  • These viruses are very good candidate for species- specific, narrow spectrum insecticidal applications.

Hope this helps!!!

Thank you.
