See if you prepare for JEE-Main strategically then yes NCERT Books will clear your concept and previous year question will give you practice of questions but there are some concepts which needs to be study apart from NCERT because they are of slight higher level but basic concepts is in NCERT , so you should also prefer some side books along with NCERT text books because you will get lot of different type of questions in it.

See doing NCERT would help you build up your basics well & good.But JEE Mains being a national level exam is highly competitive , so if one wants to achieve a good percentile and rank, then doing NCERT is not enough.
