hello aspirant,
hope you are doing well
the official syllabus of jee main exam and NCERT books covered almost all the topics regarding jee mains ..
so these books are enough for jee mains exams ..
Hello Aspirant,
Saying honestly then it is NO. See JEE-Main is a national level engineering entrance examination for which there is very high competition due to limited number of seats and therefore one needs to have thorough practice of questions from some reference books as well as from previous year question papers and sample papers. NCERT books are must have books but only with NCERT you would not be able to solve even PYQ papers so you should practice some reference books as well. So I am enlisting down some good reference books for each subject :-
@Physics
Concepts of Physics-H. C. Verma
Fundamentals of Physics-Halliday, Resnick and Walker
Problems in General Physics-I. E. Irodov
University Physics-Freedman and Young
Understanding JEE physics series-DC Pandey
Problem In Physics-SS Krotov
@Mathematics
Higher Algebra-Hall and Knight
Coordinate Geometry-S.L. Loney
Differential and Integral Calculus-N. Piskunov
Calculus and Analytic Geometry-Thomas and Finney
IIT Mathematics for JEE Main & Advanced-M.L. Khanna
Course in Mathematics for IIT-JEE-Tata McGraw Hill publication
Problems Plus in IIT Mathematics-A Das Gupta
Trigonometry-S L Loney
@Chemistry
Modern Approach to Chemical Calculations-RC Mukherjee
Organic Chemistry-Solomons and Fryhle
Concise Inorganic-J. D. Lee
Organic Chemistry-Morrison and Boyd
University Chemistry-Freedman and Young
Physical Chemistry-N Awasthi
Arihant's Practice Book Chemistry for JEE Main And Advanced-R.K Gupta

Yes,NCERT books and Previous year question are enough for some subject but not for every.
NCERT book(every excercise including Miscellaneous ) of Mathematics+ Previous years question are more than enough for JEE Mains
For chemistry NCERT is the best book available for any aspirant for both Organic and Inorganic chemistry Previous year question will help you get an extra edge on this subject
For Physics you have to look out of NCERT as well some good books are HC verma ,DC pandey etc
You should attempt previous year question of every subject and in addition do sample papers for JEE mains.
Hope this helps.
Hello,
Hope you are doing great!
Previous year’s question papers: allow candidates to understand the types of questions that can be asked in the JEE Main 2021. According to Mr. Brajesh Maheshwari (Director, Allen Career Institute), almost 70 per cent to 80 per cent of the questions are repeated in the entrance examination. If a candidate has solved the last 10 to 15 years’s question paper then he or she can easily crack the entrance exam.
NCERT books explain all the topics in a more detailed way so that the students understand and perform well in the exam. JEE Main toppers and experts also recommend NCERT for JEE Main preparation. According to experts, studying NCERT is enough to qualify JEE Main.
NCERT books: There are various reasons why NCERT is considered enough for JEE Main exams. While the factor of NCERT books having similar topics to JEE Main syllabus is the most important, there are also other points that point towards it being advantageous:
-
Over the past years, it has been noted that the questions of inorganic section from Chemistry have been directly taken from NCERT books.
-
Similarly for Mathematics, many questions available in NCERT books have been repeated in JEE main question paper. The basic concepts of the mathematics topics have also been discussed clearly in NCERT books and past JEE Main candidates have agreed that preparation was much defined and stronger by using these books.
-
NCERT 11th books and Clas12th standard NCERT books can be used to understand the basic concepts of Physics. NCERT books explain all the topics in a more detailed way so that the students understand and perform well in the exam.
-

All the best!
Hope it will help!
