Please specify about which NDA you are talking about as in india NDA is majorly known by NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY and it is a tri service training academy (ARMY, NAVY and AIR FORCE). Basically NDA is only for male candidates and  not for females. In NDA they offer only BSE degrees and not BTECH. The btech degree for armed forces is provided by NAVY ACADEMY, AND ARMY ENGINEERING COLLEGE, pune. And the armed forces does not deal with aeronautical engineering they deal with core engineering branches like MECHANICAL, ELECTRICAL and CIVIL. So NO there is no scope for aeronautical engineering at NDA.

National defence academy test is conducted to give admissions in defence academy to the young candidates of India.

Age limit- 16.5  to  19.5 years

education- 11th/12th/10+2 Candidates with subjects as physics and maths.

So, if you come under thes eligibility criteria then you are eligible to appear for the nda exam.

National defence academy offers B.Sc degree recognised by JNTU Delhi.And no there is no role for an aeronautical engineer to do in NDA.But you can pursue your career as an Aeronautical engineer in Air force.You have to give Air force Common Adimission Test (AFCAT) for.Also you can go in Army as an Aeronautical engineer through UES (Univeristy entry scheme) or through TGC ( Technical Graduation Comission) or through SSC ( Short service Comission).Also you can have oppurtunities in Navy as an Aeronautical engineer through UES and SSC.

There is a good scope for Aeronautical engineering in all central government jobs but there will be a lot of competition.Once you get in any of these jobs your life be so good.
