- For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and for the 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the Indian Naval Academy: Candidate should have passed Class 12th exam in the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics conducted by a State Education Board or a University.
There is no particular percentage to appear in the NDA exam.Passing mark is enough to appear the exam.students must complete 10+2 with physics and mathematics.More over students must have physical and medical fitness to clear this exam.

You can apply for NDA after completion of your class 12th or during appearing for 12th boards.
The eligibility criteria For the Army wing of National Defence Academy is that you should have passed Class 12 in any stream.
Whereas For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy you must have passed class 12 with Physics and Mathematics from a recognised staye/ national board.
If you are appearing in Class 12 or equivalent examination in the same year even the you are eligible to appear in the same year.
