NSIT is a public/government institution and has a AAAA rating in the field of Engineering.  The institution has a very good placement records in the field of B.E./B.Tech as the median salary package is about Rs. 11 lakhs per annum while it is Rs. 7-8 lakhs per annum for M.Tech. The highest package can go up to 25-30 lakhs per annum as per the calibre of the candidates. Overall, the infrastructure, basic amenities and facilities are provided at NSIT.
