. Cut offs change every year depending on various factors such as no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. So it is highly difficult to predict 2022 cut offs. If you look at how things have been in the recent past, in UP, in 2018, 469 was the cut off for General Category. In 2019, it increased by 150 marks and in 2019 the cut off was 575. For the year 2020, a score of 603 couldnt get a seat even after Round 2. Compared to 2019, the NEET 2020 cut offs have changed considerably higher than expected. With the top score being 720 which is 19 marks greater than 2019's top score, it is difficult to predict chances. As of now there are 11 Candidates competing for every 1 MBBS seat. Unless Medical Colleges come up the way the Candidates are increasing, the cut offs are going to go higher. But for General Category it is always going to be 50 percentile of the top NEET score.
