Hello aspirant.
The Supreme Court released the final verdict on 7th January with the allowance of 27% OBC and 10% EWS reservation in NEET exams. It has also directed the authorities to start with NEET PG and UG counseling procedure. NEET UG allows admission into various courses such as MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, BVSc. We can expect the counseling to start soon, though no date is confirmed yet.
The last year cut off for admission into government veterinary colleges for the general category was 554- Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences. The cut off rank for BAMS course was around 60,000. So, you can easily get admission to both the courses.
Both the courses have an equally good scope in the future, as Ayurveda too is gaining immense popularity due to the pandemic. For a vet, based on your experience and the field you are placed in, you can earn up to 2 lakhs per month, especially if you are in the Indian Air Force (should be enough experienced). For a BAMS doctor, medical officers usually earn around 50,000 per month. In short, choose what interests you. You will automatically start to earn well if you are dedicated and experienced.
All the best!
This ebook serves as a valuable study guide for NEET exams, specifically designed to assist students in light of recent changes and the removal of certain topics from the NEET exam.
