Look there is specific eligibility criteria for 12th class percentage marks for different categories. The most basic eligibility criteria you require is to complete your 10 + 2. I am mentioning below the detailed eligibility structure as permitted by National testing agency which conduct NEET UG examination:
- If you belong to general category then you are required to score at least 50% marks in the 10 + 2 class level board examination.
- If you belong to OBC, SC or ST category then you are required to score at least 40% marks in your 10 + 2 class level board examination.
- If you belong to to PWD category then you have to score at least 45% marks in your aggregate of 10 + 2 class level board examination.
- The other eligibility criteria is that you must have completed 17 years age as on December 31, 2022.
- You also must have studied three compulsory subjects in your 10 + 2. These three subjects are Physics, Chemistry and Biology /Biotechnology. Other than this you must have also studied English in your 10 + 2 as a subject.

You must have passed 10+2 or equivalent with Biology/Biotechnology, Physics, Chemistry, and English as core subjects from a recognized board.
There are no restrictions in the number of attempts.
To give NEET exam you need to prepare very well. Last year cutoff mark is given in the table below:
