Dear Girish,

There is nothing called passing marks in NEET Exam. In NEET, it is qualifying marks rather which is 50th percentile for general category and 40th percentile for reserved categories. Try to score 480+. Then you'll definitely get a good government medical college.
If you want to score good marks in NEET then just follow simple steps -
Clear your basic concepts.
Be thorough with NCERT textbook. Its a must.
Solve previous year question papers.
Take mock tests to assess your progress.
Solve questions from any reference book you prefer for competitive exams
Solve as much as numerical possible.
Use shortcuts to solve to save your time. Formulas to be at your Fingertips.
All the best !

Depending on question standard cut off marks varies year to year. It is very difficult to predict cut off marks before exam. Try to score 450+ to secure your seat in govt. Medical college. Good luck

As the exam has not been held yet, so it is difficult to say about the cutoff but try to score 560 or above to get an aiq seat. As per last year trends.
Hey Girish,

The NEET cut off for OBC quota, depends upon whether you are applying for the 15% All India Quota or the 85% State Quota. Also, the State Quota score vary from state to state as well as College to college.

The cut off score as of NEET 2017 for OBC quota was 107 marks out of 720 marks which is the 40th percentile.

Last year, the cut off was 440 marks for OBC category under All India Quota.

For All India Quota, you must focus on getting a score of 440+ to ensure a seat in a good medical college.

All the very Best.

The cut off marks varies every year.

It's set at 40 percentile.

Means you have to have a rank so that you are above 40% of students who appear for the exams.

However, just qualification won't help.

Plus in maximum colleges there is no OBC reservation.

Therefore to be on the safe side, try scoring above 500 for a Govt college and above 450 for a private college.

Good luck.

Hi

The NEEt cutoff for UG for OBC students is set at 40th percentile. Please not e that it is not r0percent it is percentile.

It varies each year depending on the toppers marks.

Last year it was 107 out of 720.

So try scoring above 100 at least to be eligible.

Good luck

Hi Girish,

NEET 2018 will be conducted on May 6, 2018. You can refer to the previous year's cutoff to get an idea of expected cutoff this year.

For students belonging to OBC category NEET 2017 Qualification percentile was  40th Percentile.

NEET 2017 Qualifying Score as per qualification percentile (out of 720) was 107

Hope this helps you.

Good Luck for  your exam!
