Hello Aspirant,
As of now the NEET 2020 is scheduled for September 13th and there are very less or even no chances of cancellation of NEET 2020 because now gradually all entrance exams are being conducted with proper safety measures.
There was a appeal raised by a student and she also filed PIL in Hon'ble Supreme Court to relax the criteria of NEET for admission to MBBS course in abroad but it is now mandatory. However, Supreme Court told MCI to look into it. As of now if you want to study MBBS in India or in abroad then you have to clear NEET with good marks.
I hope this information helps you.
Good Luck!!
There is a PIL in the Supreme court asking for exemption from NEET for admission to MBBS abroad. However that was filed by just 1 student and the Supreme Court has asked MCI to look into it. There is no general information regarding NEET being cancelled for MBBS abroad. And as of now NEET 2020 has been sccheduled for September 13th. Whether it will be postponed or conducted as per schedule, there is no information yet. At this point in time, there is no clear notification regarding the same. A parents body has filed a PIL in the Supreme Court requesting for JEE Mains and NEET to be postponed further due to the increased cases. And they have come up with 10 reasons as to why NEET should be further postponed. And Parents body from Gujarat also filed a PIL requesting NEET and JEE Mains to be conducted as per schedule without any delay. Supreme Court is yet to pass an order on it. So until there is an official notification regarding this from either NTA or MHRD, we have to assume that NEET will be conducted as scheduled on September 13th. There are 27 days more to go for the D day and anything might happen. If Supreme Court accepts the PIL, it might then ask MHRD and NTA to file in their petitions and then a call will be taken accordingly after all the pleadings are heard. So while it is still under hearing, we cannot say anything at this point in time. States like Kerala already have started taking precautionary measures to set up exam centres in the State. And NTA also did inform the Supreme Court that it cannot hold NEET abroad this year. We have to wait to hear from either NTA or MHRD regarding the same. Until then the only wise thing to do would be to prepare for NEET as if it is going to happen on September 13th so that if the schedule doesnt change, you are not thrown off the guard
This ebook serves as a valuable study guide for NEET exams, specifically designed to assist students in light of recent changes and the removal of certain topics from the NEET exam.
