Dear Manoranjan, in 2018, under State Quota, 479 marks secured a seat in Maldah Government Medical College. That was the cut off. With 475 marks it is a very close call. Having said that, cut offs change every year and are dependant on various factors like no.of seats availble, no.of candidates appearing for the exam, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. You can visit our page to check the cut offs of various Categories at:

Hey Manoranjan !

Before answering your question, it's required that we look at the statistics of the result that of 2018.

In the year of 2018, the last UR Category student who made it through the gates of Govt. Medical College in the state of West Bengal had a score of 479 getting in Maldah Medical College.

Comparing that with yours, you do look to fall behind a bit.

Added to that, the cutoff this year is predicted to be on a rise owing to the slightly easier level of paper.

But, as per the news, we have had some data that that 5 new Medical Colleges would start filling up around 500 more seats in the state as a result of which, you might just get in.

Make sure you stay till the last round of counselling

Follow the below mentioned link to have a better idea of the cutoff.

Hope this helps.
