Yes, NEET is the common entrance examination for MBBS w.e.f. 2016. It is also used as the entrance examination for BDS and other courses such as paramedical, verterinary sciences in various colleges.

As AIIMS and JIPMER are autonomous bodies, they conduct separate entrance exams during the months of May-June.

Colleges such as CMC Vellore also require an additional aptitude test held by the institution.

As per mbbs..from neet itself..15% all india seats based on air and 85% state quota seats based on state rann should be allocated :)
