Biology
Biology for a medical entrance is mainly Zoology & Botany. The following table shows topic wise weightage of the Question paper of NEET 2018. It can be observed that Biological classification, enjoying a vast portion of the syllabus occupied 9 of the total 90 questions asked. There are topics which were having just one question such as digestion & absorption, Transportation in plants etc. But, these were all scoring questions which cant be ignored based on just their weightage in NEET 2018. You can prepare for NEET according to the syllabus mentioned in the careers 360 website. For more details you can visit NEET website.
If we can consider NEET 2017, maximum questions were from NCERT.
So firstly we will look at the sections which had maximum importance in the last National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET UG).
Physics:Mechanics is the most important topic. 12-13 questions were asked on it last time.
Chemistry:Organic Chemistry dominates the chemistry question paper. 14-15 questions were from topics related to it.
Biology: There was a more uniform distribution of questions in Biology. There was no single unit or topic from which more than 6 questions were asked. Hence it would be wrong to deem any one single chapter most important as all are important.
And we are expecting the similar way of questions now.
If you need the topic wise weightage , click
here
All the best.
It's not so easy to prepare for NEET in 2 months.
So what I want to say is if you're having good basics of every subject go with the high weightage topics to low weightage.. And follow the NCERT books because most models are from that book. Practice as many papers as you can.
All the best.
