NTA is an autonomous body and it takes a call based on its jurisdiction. Now while we cannot question the action behind how your friend's son could get a notification and why your daughter wouldn't, we can only reiterate the fact that unless NTA notified you to correct the uploaded images, there is nothing that can be done about it.
