You should qualified the NEET examination for admission in medical college. For St category only 40% marks is required for qualification. And in every college have 7.5% reservation seats for St category candidates.

Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English as core subjects from a recognized board. Class 12 or equivalent appearing aspirants are also eligible to apply for NEET. The Required Percentage in 12th standard for ST Category is 40%. The eligible age limit is from 17.

The basic criteria is similar for all the categories. Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English as core subjects from a recognized board. Candidates must have completed 17 years as on December 31st of the year of examination. The only difference is the requirements for class 12 percentage. For ST category the percentage requirement is 40% in 10+2 board exam.
