Aspirants are required to meet any one of the following criteria to avail of the state quota in Uttarakhand MBBS admission:
- They must be permanent residents of Uttarakhand and must have passed Classes 10th and 12th from a recognized Educational Institution in Uttarakhand.
- Candidates who are permanent resident of the Uttarakhand but studied 10th and 12th outside the state are also eligible for States Domicile but the vice-versa is not true.
