NEET2021: Iam studying in Karnataka (12th), my cast is Reddy, it fall under OBC IIIA category under KA cast list, but the same is not there in central list, in this case, which category (GEN / OBC-NCL) I should select, when filling NTA application and KCET application for MBBS admissions, pl guide.

hello,

If you fall under OBC IIIA as you say then you can apply for OBC-NCL if and only if you are matching the same criteria as follow:

1. The applicant’s parents’ annual income should be less than Rs. 10 lakhs.

2. Salary and agricultural income are not to be considered as income for calculating annual income for creamy layer status. As far as the Government employees are considered, the entry cadre/post is to be taken into consideration.
