Hii
As Such the official ranks are not released, for that you need to wait till the month of april as the final result would be declared after the April Session of JEE Mains.
But careers360 has prepared a rank predictor tool, which can predict an estimated rank from your percentile score.
You can also use the tool yourself for your satisfaction. I am providing the link below.
https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-rank-predictor
After putting up your details in the rank predictor, i got the following result-
your probable general rank will be 70,177 - 77,677 and your probable category rank range will be 2388 - 2688
But please be informed that this is only for the reference purpose and no confirmation is given by careers360 about this.
The rank might vary after the declaration of final result, as there are two sessions of MAINS from this year and best of two scores would be used for results.
Hope this helps. Feel free to revert back for any more doubt.
Thanks!!
I'm assuming that you have obtained 93.68 percentile in JEE Mains of January session of 2019.
The final cut off list will be declared by NTA after the April session of the JEE mains examination.
As for now, your probable rank can be calculated.
Now, A total of 874469 candidates wrote the exam. Since the percentile is calculated from a scale ranging from 100 to 0 for each session of examinees, the formula applies the total number of students in the January session which is 874469 /100 multiplied by the percentage of people who are ahead of you to arrive at the rank.
Therefore, the formula to calculate the JEE Main 2019 rank for January 2019 is
JEE Main 2019 rank (probable) = (100-93.68 ) X 874469 /100 = 55266 (approximately)
This rank may inflate or deflate depending on the total number of candidates who write the examination. in the April session.
You could take a probable calculation and see where you stand. This means that you take a hypothetical number of the candidates who will appear in April. If you go by past trends, the figures are somewhat between 11 lakhs to 12 lakhs. Using this as a basis, use the NTA score and see which JEE Main rank you will get.
Using the same formula,
If NTA percentile score is 93.68, JEE Main rank will be (100-93.68) X 1200000/100 = 74840
According to the various data collected by Careers360 by assessment of the previous year trends, it can be predicted that an 85 percentile and above is enough for getting selected/becoming eligible to write the JEE advanced examinations.
Now, using this estimated calculation, you can check previous year cut off trends and think of an idea of the probable colleges.
