Hello,

The Neolithic Age especially In India, it  is spanned from around 7,000 B.C. to 1,000 B.C. The Neolithic Age is mainly characterized by the development of settled agriculture and the use of tools and weapons made of polished stones.

It is characterized by the use of polished stone implements, development of permanent houses, cultural advances such as pottery making, domestication of animals and plants, the cultivation of grain.

The earliest Neolithic settlements, in the Indian subcontinent, was first developed in the west of the Indus River. At Mehrgarh, the Neolithic culture began about 8,000 B.C. and soon it became a widespread phenomenon.
