Based on the rank provided by you in your NIMCET Exam you can get a seat in NIT Jamshedpur ,NIT Kurukshetra,NIT Durgapur,NIT Raipur..These colleges are based on the OBC-NCL category rank.If the category of yours is SC or ST then based on your category rank you can even get admission in NIT Trichy.

Sir, I want to know if the category ranking will do any help or unlike jee mains its just for show off and won't be of any help in actual admission? I want to will admission be purely on AIR rank or category rank only or both?
