Hi,
ECE and EEE both seem quite similar but, the point of difference is EEE is all about the electrical technology, electromagnetism, circuit analysis, power engineering, etc. It is a hard core elecrtonic and electrical subject whereas, ECE involves electronics along with communication studies like analog communication, transmission, microprocessors, etc.
Placement wise both branches are good but looking at further scope, ECE students have an edge over EEE students when it comes to IES because, EEE students are not eligible.
ECE students have a higher probability of getting a givernment placement.
So, majorly, it depends on your interest.
